Missions Update
Rev. Chris Copeland:

There are some very serious attacks on the African Bible College at present that could even threaten our continued ministry. Please be diligent in prayer that the Lord of Heaven and Earth will show His sovereign power and not let false accusations prevail.

There is much corruption in the country here and justice is easily perverted. Despite the size of the college, Satan is sufficiently troubled by our existence to begin hurling a barrage of obstacles against us. Someone, supposedly a student but that information is unconfirmed, sent a letter to the National Council for Higher Education, an anonymous letter of complaint. There seems to be a few disgruntled troublemakers continually spreading slanderous and malicious rumors. Whoever wrote the letter appears to be consumed with bitterness and harboring hatred toward African Bible College. I am sorry to report that I was singled out as the object of egregious slander.

Please pray for us to stand firm in the grace of Christ, to forgive our enemies and to love those who persecute us. Pray for strength to carry on our work, for we are well aware that this Satanic attack is meant to divert us from our mission of placing the Bible back into the hands of African church leaders. A spiritual battle is raging. We have learned that already the next volley against us is in preparation, far more serious than the matters we have shared here.

Shall we close our Bibles and go home? Shall we give up the fight? Shall we stop praying? Shall we surrender to despair? No. We shall stand firm. Pray for protection. Pray earnestly, pray faithfully, pray joyfully – BUT PRAY!

There are many areas of service here at Faith Church. Please see the following sign up sheets on the vestibule bulletin board:

Second Sunday of the month Visitor Fellowship Meal host family.
